What is 2029 and Beyond?

This is your city. You live and work here. We want to be sustainable into the future. We want you to take us there.

2029 and Beyond is about planning for the future of Geraldton and the region around it. 2029 and Beyond is a once in a generation opportunity: something very few other city regions have embarked upon.

Energy Saving Challenge

Register now for the Energy Saving Challenge to start saving money on your energy bill and help us become a more sustainable City Region.

Our community survey showed that 90% of the community would like the City to start investing in going carbon neutral, so here's your chance to help make it happen! The Energy Saving Challenge allows you to track your household energy use over time and compare your use to others in your neighbourhood and city. Over time you can work to reduce your energy use which will save you $$$ and will contribute to a more sustainable City Region.
